Our History
On October 15, 2000 founded by Elder Robert C. Perry, II, Kingdom Builders’ Worship Center was birthed with a mandate to preach the Gospel with integrity, prepare the body of Christ for warfare through training, and lastly instill in the hearts and minds of God’s children the purpose of its walk which is to be fishers of men.  On opening day, the ministry opened its doors with 15 young people, each with a fervent desire to seek God’s face and to align their lives in God’s perfect will.  Together these young men and women set forth on their spiritual journey to establish the Kingdom of God in earth as it is in heaven. (St. Matt. 6: 10)  Under the anointed guidance of the Founder & Pastor, Robert C. Perry, II, Kingdom Builders’ Worship Center, Inc. began working towards pursuing the following goals:
  • Instilling the character and mind of God into those who desire to know Him (Phil. 2: 5)
  • Preaching and teaching the mandate of Praise and Worship as a spiritual tool, weapon. and a way of life. (St. John 4: 23, 24)
  • Obtaining biblical prosperity after seeking the Kingdom of God and all of His righteousness. (St. Matt. 6: 33)
  • Allowing God's people to experience His healing power. (Isa. 53: 5)
  • Reaching the community, inviting them to experience the presence of the Almighty God through our
corporate obedience and diligence to Him.
  • Equipping believers to be builders of God's Kingdom in every area of their lives: spiritually, physically,
economically, and culturally. (Heb. 11: 10)
On December 31, 2003 Kingdom Builders' Worship Center merged with Mt. Olive Temple of Christ.  Mt. Olive is a ministry that was founded by Reverend Susie B. Thomas in 1968.  God gave her a vision to help the community through evangelism and outreach and to build a house of prayer for all people no matter the denomination, race, or gender.  God saw fit to bring these two ministries together to form what is now known to the world as Mt. Olive Kingdom Builders’ Worship Center under the pastorate of Overseer Robert C. Perry II.

The ministry has attracted a membership of over 500 members to the body of Christ.  Built upon a strong and biblically strategic foundation, Mt. Olive Kingdom Builders’ continues to enlarge its territory with a steady increase in membership and finances.  Pastor Perry has placed special emphasis on the establishment of administration of the church to assure continued growth through integrity, effectiveness and accountability in the operation and purpose of the church.

Mt. Olive Kingdom Builders’ Worship Center, continues to focus its ministry on the unique challenges and needs of today’s families and urban communities.  Therefore, with a strong focus on education, Pastor Robert C. Perry, II continues to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ with enthusiasm and tenacity under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
